A personal survey – Week 9

Step 1 –  Core interview questions:


What business are you in?

Consulting, human resources, coaching and training.

What is your mission?

Contribute on the development of people’s competence and abilities.

What are your three most important goals?

Upgrade my knowledge’s every day, be empathic, reach as many people as possible.

Why was this company created?

Because I wanted to be independent and be able to do why I like most, encourage people to reach the best inside of themselves in an efficient and motivated way by using their own knowledge’s.  ie. help them to help themselves

Describe your products or services.

Consulting and coaching, organizational development, training

Who is your target market?

All kind of industry, business or individuals that need training, couching or competence development. The aim is to guide them through solving problems related to formation.

Prioritize your stakeholders in order of importance.

  • Customers
  • Competitors
  • Media

How do you want to be perceived by each audience?

Like a bridge towards the best of themselves

What is your competitive advantage?

Quality and effectivity, languages, international background and assertiveness.

Why do your customers choose your product or service?

Because of tangible results.

What do you do better than anyone else?

I create solutions and new ideas. I give them the litle bit extra

Who is your competition?

Consult agencies

Is there a competitor that you admire most?

Not realy.

How do you market your product and services?

By participating in specialized seminars, corporate events, web page, social network, stands, publicity material, promote products by meeting the client, workshops, spetialized magazines.

What are the trends and changes that affect your industry?

Economic stability, saturated market (there are bigger companies to compete with), lack of creativity.

Where will you be in five years?

Bigger company with great partners, reach further away, stabilized and stablished,

In ten years?

Have a successful enterprise that runs itself and it is expanded worldwide

How do you measure success?

By satisfaction, motivation, creativity and rentability.

What values and beliefs unify your employees and drive their performance?

Ethic, responsibility, quality and efficiency.

What are the potential barriers to the success of your product or service?

Deviate from goals, surrounded by a wrong team of people.

What keeps you up at night?

That the goals were not achieved and failing to keep the promise. Otherwise i sleep very well at night.

Place yourself in the future. If your company could do anything or be anything, what would it be?

It would be a company with a great reachability or a big company with a big crew. It can be an apple because knowledge in delicious and healthy , and apple is also a synonym of enlighment. Perhaps also a workshop because by having and using the right tool’s you can construct, model, polish and adapt until you become the best version of you.

If you could communicate a single message about your company, what would it be?

Partnership or  a group of people working towards the same goal where constancy is the key.


Step 2

Now use this person’s name to create a logo for him/her. Remember to keep the previous criteria and guidelines we’ve covered on logos in mind. For the purposes of this assignment, you should create three logo options (of which at least one should be in full colour). There are no restrictions such as type-only, etc. so be creative! It is important, though, to treat this as a professional logo execution, which the “client” may wish to use in his/her own capacity.

Step 3

Publish the answers/data from your survey as well as a rationale (a document in which you explain and interpret your ideas) for your logos, based on this research. Also hand in the three options of the logos as PDFs and tell me which one is your favorite, as well as which one your client preferred.
