Week 27 – Learning Activity – Creating a Brief

For this assignment I am continuing from a previous assignment A Personal Survey – Week 9

There I had collect information from my client where I was asked to create a visual image and a  logo for.

This time for this Learning Activity – Week 27 –  I am asked to create a brief that will be sent to a team of web designer to produce my clients site. The brief should be good enough to hand over to any design/programming team and get a great result.

The website facilitate access to services, contacts, statements, info videos, networking and events in that area, and a description of what we do.

Objectives

Business expansion,  reaching out people, new contacts and networking

How are you going to achieve this goal?

By releasing info videos where it’s content explain and teach about services offered. Those videos act as promotional material but also as a learning tool that open doors to a more deep knowledge when contacting the company. Those videos are booth on the site and in social networks. Also there is a page with events and network meetings to encourage people from that area to get together and create a community where they could interchange ideas, comments and eventually start new projects.

Style

The client wishes a minimal approach. Keep in mind that the client target is all kind of industry, business or individuals that need training, coaching or competence development. The aim is to guide them through solving problems related to formation.  The target is between people of 35 to 50 years old. Therefore it need to be neat, organized, well structured and keeping in mind productivity and accessibility.

Suggestions for marketing the site

Stands at events with possible customers, using social media, creating network groups in social media, creating events for networking, keep an open channel with news and upcoming events, keep people informed but also making the information functional for them in order to grab their attention and interest. Use of social media and regular upload of new info videos and events.
